We are delighted to present a beautiful lot of coffee from a new partner for us, Kiamutuira Factory in Kirinyaga County, Kenya.

Established in 1996, Kiamutuira serves as a collection point for 350–400 local smallholder farmers. As part of the Mutira Farmers Cooperative, they work with a systematic approach to processing.

The process includes careful sorting, pulping, and fermentation of the coffee cherries. The beans are then dried on raised beds. Under the leadership of Mwai N. Riko and with support from Coffee Management Services, the focus is on ensuring consistent quality.

Kiamutuira has gained recognition for its AA lots, which represent the highest grading (or sorting) in Kenya. This has earned them a strong reputation for quality, making their coffee highly sought after on cupping tables around the world.
